Nearly all of my images are shot while actively seeking out subject matter and magical light. This is an exception. I was getting in my last days of mountain biking in October and riding some single track down a local drainage when I saw an amazing sight. The moss laden rocks were still brilliant green, but there was ice mounting from the cool nights. I raced home got my gear and captured a truly unique image.,
