Capital Peak is one of the most majestic of the Colorado 14ers. Sitting in the middle of the Maroon Bell - Snowmass Wilderness, it can only be accessed by the most committed adventurers. This image was taken in late September after the first snowfall as the aspens just begin to turn gold.
