Title: The Wave
Location:
The Wave is the most unique sandstone feature I have ever seen. It was originally created on the shore of an ancient sea. Layer upon layer of sand piled up, add in a fault line while it was forming, and millions of years of primarily wind erosion, and you get "The Wave". This location requires a special permit from the BLM and then some luck to find it. I had seen photos of this location and the thing that struck me was the scale. It is more massive than I ever imagined.
