I came upon this natural bouquet of Colorado columbine and paintbrush while hiking near the blue lakes in southern Summit County. Nestled along the creek in front of a rushing cascade and Colorado blue spruce, this image defines Colorado. I have returned most every summer since and this is the best I've seen it.
