Title: Wildflowers and Aspen

This beautiful patch of flowers was found in the Gunnison National Forest west of Kebler Pass. This shot was used as a cover photo for Summit Magazine a couple years ago. I felt very fortunate to find this scene. Stunning wildflowers in Colorado are fairly common, but alone they rarely make a compelling photo. One needs context to create a truly great photograph. The stark white aspen trunks give the wildflowers context and really make this scene come together.
