I know I am fortunate to call the mountains home. Those of you who live on the Great Plains may have cheaper real estate, but we have alpenglow. It is that magic few minutes at the end and beginning of every sunny day when the peaks glow with a warm orange or pink light. This image was captured at a waterfall I frequent in McCullough Gulch. The light that morning was ethereal. This image was recently used by the Alpenglow Chamber Music Festival for their annual fund raising campaign.
